Liberal Democrat Candidate for Deansgate

Born in Lancashire and raised in North Yorkshire, Luke is a dedicated Liberal Democrat with a proven track record in promoting equality, community engagement, and wellbeing, particularly within local government.

Since relocating to Manchester, Luke has played an active role in supporting the city centre team and advocating for Ancoats & Beswick councillors Alan Good and Chris Northwood. Luke works closely with the Lib Dem council group as Group Treasurer, and is active in encouraging and supporting individuals from marginalised backgrounds to get involved in politics as Vice Chair of the City Centre branch.

Beyond Manchester, Luke holds an executive position with LGBT+ Liberal Democrats. Outside of politics, Luke channels his passion for inspiring others through his work in higher education marketing, supporting individuals in their career aspirations.
