100 Club
Rules & Conditions of Membership - (November 2025)
- The object of the Manchester Lib Dems 100 Club is to raise money for the Manchester Liberal Democrat Wards & Constituencies, specifically to build up a fund for potential by-elections which it is decided are to be fought seriously.
- All members will be issued with one or more numbers depending on the level of commitment they choose to make. New members can choose their number(s) from those remaining or number(s) will be allocated by the Promoter.
- The monthly subscription is £5 per number allocated and is due no later than the 20th day of the month. Subscriptions may be paid monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or annually by Bank Transfer.
- The prizes will be drawn at least 5 times a year at LP executive meetings with a bonus draw at the AGM.
- Members whose subscriptions are more than two months in arrears will not be eligible for a prize.
- Every 2 months, the list of winners will be announced on emailed to all members.
- Membership is open to anyone irrespective of political views or place of residence.
- The Promoter reserves the right to alter, amend, revise, or delete any rule at their discretion, including the amount of prize money and the monthly subscriptions. Any such alterations will be announced to all members.
- If the Premium Prize draw is suspended or not published in any way, the Promoter will arrange for the winning numbers to be selected by a random method.
- Members must be over the age of 18.
The treasurer will from time to time transfer any profits from the Club to the Manchester Liberal Democrat bank account.
PRIZES:
At least 70% of funds raised go to Manchester Lib Dems towards campaigning costs Eg if 20 members pay £5 a month there would be £100 prize at AGM; £50 prize at a draws every 2 months (increase in draws to reflect every 10 additional members up to a maximum of a draw each month and one at the AGMPromoter: Paul Jones, Treasurer
