Leech Praises Hedgehog Saviour Barbara Roberts in Parliamentary motion

South Manchester MP John Leech has submitted a parliamentary motion praising the work of the founder of the Withington Hedgehog Car Trust Barbara Roberts, congratulating her tireless work protecting hedgehogs, and on being awarded the BEM in the New Years’ Honours list. She will get the award from the Lord Lieutenant of Greater Manchester, and will attend the Queen’s garden party at Buckingham Palace on the 12th May.

John Leech MP said today, “Barbara is an inspiration. She has protected thousands of  hedgehogs over 30 years, and this BEM is a testament to her commitment and hard work. It is very well deserved.”

Barbara Robert said, “Of course, I do this for the hedgehogs, but I am honoured and humbled that my work has been recognised by this honour and John’s parliamentary motion.”
