Do you want to see more Liberal Democrat councillors on Manchester City Council?
Well, here is one way you can help.
The campaign has already started to elect more councillors at the local elections next May and rebuild our council group. John Leech cannot by himself defend the homeless against Labour's PSPO, fight for green space where Labour sell it off at a discount, and demand our fair share from developers, where Labour let them walk away without contributing to affordable housing.
But to plan an effective campaign, we need up to date information on who votes in elections.
That why we must purchase a copy of the marked electoral register for the city. Of course, this does not tell us how people voted, but it tells us who voted. And that is real useful information in planning a campaign.
The problem is that to purchase a copy, and then process this register costs about £850.
Every little you can contribute helps. £26.50 will cover a single ward, and there are 32 across the city, but even as little as £10 will help us purchase a copy of this important register.
